I offer you, and anyone who stumbles upon this post, a new song. This one I am especially proud of. Somewhat for the writing and arranging but certainly for the production. There’s a very dramatic sound-segway at 4:00 - ish (it’s quite a producer moment, la-di-da) and the layered guitars are really doing it for me all across this thing. Should I talk about the vari-speed tape manipulation approach? I basically just sped up the drums slightly once *Shua Taylor* sent them to me and tracked everything except for the vocals before returning it to regular speed. People keep telling me it has a “stuck in honey / punching in a dream swankiness to it” which I find VERY interesting considering I used this approach in the recording. The extra vocals from *Mikale* are very nice throughout. I mastered it lazily (only temporary) so that I could share it with you before the month is over. What a delight it would be if you were fond of it. If you didn't care for it, that’d be fine too hahaha I am still happy I made it and think the process has made me a better producer and player and thinker. Bye for now!
